Do I need to code to install it?
No. Just paste one line of code into your website. The widget appears automatically.
How does the free tier work?
The free plan includes up to 100 chats per month, 1 domain, 50 crawl pages, and a 'Powered by LuluDesk' badge. Paid plans remove the badge and increase the limits.
What is the difference between LuluDesk and LuluClaw?
LuluDesk is the RAG chatbot for your website — perfect for SMBs who want to answer questions for their visitors. LuluClaw is the AI agent platform for developers with Telegram, Discord, Slack, and BYOK.
What happens when I hit the chat limit?
The widget will show a limit-reached message. You can upgrade your plan at any time from your dashboard.
How is LuluDesk different from Chatbase?

Yes. Growth and Pro plans re-crawl your site automatically (weekly and continuous). Free and Starter plans can trigger a manual re-crawl from your dashboard at any time.
What if I have no website yet?
You can start by uploading a PDF, a Word doc, or pasting text directly. You don't need a live website to build your knowledge base. When you do launch your site, just add the URL and LuluDesk crawls it automatically.
Does it work on Webflow, Squarespace, or Shopify?
Yes. Just paste the one-line snippet into your platform's custom code block. It works on any website that lets you add HTML — Webflow, Squarespace, Shopify, WordPress, Wix, and more.
Can I customize the AI's personality?
Yes. You can set the assistant's name, tone (formal, friendly, technical), greeting message, and system instructions. The assistant will always answer from your content — it won't make things up.
Will it ever say something off-brand?
LuluDesk only answers using your knowledge base. If a question falls outside your content, the assistant acknowledges it and suggests the visitor contact you directly. It never invents pricing, policies, or facts.
